Avery Leblanc, BS

Marriage and Family Therapist Graduate Student Intern

I value the power of human connection and the meaning that can emerge from simply sitting across from another person with presence and care. I believe that people are inherently capable of change, and I see my role not as someone who “fixes,” but as someone who walks alongside clients as they explore, understand, and reshape their experiences. I view therapy as a collaborative process, where client and therapist work together to understand experiences, relationships, and patterns, and to create pathways toward growth and healing.

I recognize that many people develop ways of protecting themselves to survive difficult experiences, and I aim to help clients make sense of these protective strategies and share their meaning with others in their lives so deeper understanding and connection can emerge. I also believe that change is happening every day, and I work to help clients notice, honor, and strengthen the growth already unfolding in their lives.

I believe time is one of our most valuable resources, and I strive to use our time together intentionally. I approach therapy with curiosity about the relationships, experiences, and patterns that shape how people experience themselves and others, and I am interested in exploring how these connections can support greater understanding, resilience, and well-being.

I have experience working with individuals, families, and couples, and I bring openness, compassion, and respect into each therapeutic relationship. No matter what experiences have led someone to therapy, I believe everyone is capable of rewriting their stories, reconnecting with their strengths, and moving toward a more empowered and meaningful future.

If you’re feeling stuck, curious about change, or simply looking for a space to reflect, please reach out. I would be honored to work with you.
