Our Therapists: Experience, Expertise, & Approach
At Evergreen Pathways Psychotherapy Services, LLC our team of Marriage and Family Therapists brings together both seasoned and emerging professionals who are deeply committed to helping clients grow, heal, and reconnect—with themselves, with others, and with what they value most.
Melissa Tarbox, MS, LMFT and Kaila Wylie, MS, MFT lead the team bringing depth, insight, and years of experience. Melissa and Kaila are both graduates from the University of New Hampshire’s, Marriage and Family Therapy program. Their leadership within Evergreen Pathways includes mentoring emerging therapists and fostering a culture of clinical excellence, reflection, and systemic thinking. Together, they guide a collaborative, compassionate practice rooted in helping children, individuals, couples, and families heal from disconnection, trauma and relational issues.
Working alongside Melissa and Kaila, are pre-licensed therapists—Sydney Whittum, MS, MFT, Mykala Black, MS, MFT, and Stephanie Santiago, MS, MFT—who are also graduates of the University of New Hampshire’s Marriage and Family Therapy program.
Sydney, Mykala, and Stephanie bring a fresh, deeply empathic perspective to therapy, specializing in areas like childhood emotional development, parenting support, couples work, and trauma recovery. Under ongoing supervision, they provide high-quality care while continuing to grow in clinical skill and depth.
Key Differentiators - What sets us apart?
Relational + Systems-Oriented - Our therapists view individuals in context-your relationships, upbringing, culture, and environment all matter.
Emotionally + Somatically Informed - Our therapists help you tune into what your body is saying, not just your thoughts-because healing lives in the nervous system too.
Integrative Approaches - Our therapists blend evidence-based modalities with a personalized touch-meeting you where you are and walking with you from there.
Attachment + Trauma-Aware - Whether you’re healing from early childhood wounds or working through present-day struggles, we bring an attuned, compassionate lens to the work.
Growth-Oriented Supervision Model - Our pre-licensed therapists work under close supervision from an experienced LMFT-offering high-quality care grounded in collaboration, mentorship, and ongoing growth and learning.
Experience with Life Transitions - From parenting shifts to identity exploration, our therapists specialize in guiding clients through life’s big (and small) changes with clarity and compassion.
Though each therapist at Evergreen Pathways Psychotherapy Services, LLC brings their own style and specialities, the above common threads run through their work.
Across the team, our approach is integrative, trauma-sensitive, emotionally attuned, and relationship-focused. We view healing not as “fixing” broken parts, but as reconnecting with one’s innate wisdom, resilience, and capacity for meaningful change. We am to help you heal, once and for all.
