Do you feel caught in a cycle, living the same internal story over and over? Has there been a point where it feels, “enough is enough?”

I work with individuals, couples, and families who feel ready to stop living on autopilot and start living with intention. The people I meet don’t come to therapy because they’re “broken” — they come because they’ve hit a point where old ways of coping no longer match the life they want to live. Patterns that once protected them now keep them small, tired, overwhelmed, or disconnected.

I help people understand why these patterns formed and how to outgrow them with clarity and compassion.

How I See Change

Change doesn’t only happen because we collect more information — it happens when we learn how to apply what we already know in moments that matter — in our bodies, in our relationships, and in our daily choices. Most people don’t struggle because they lack insight; they struggle because insight hasn’t yet translated into action.

I help bridge that space.

Your emotions, habits, and defenses aren’t mistakes — they’re messages. They’re the mind and body’s way of showing you where something still feels unfinished or unheard. When we slow down and listen, those same “problems” often reveal exactly what we need.

Reconnecting With Yourself

One of my core beliefs is that every person has an internal reference point — a sense of who they are when they feel grounded, safe, and aligned. Trauma…fear…life…can pull us away from that center. Stress, expectations, family roles, and survival strategies often create distance between who we are and how we show up.

My work focuses on helping you return to that inner place of truth.

As that connection strengthens:

  • You respond to yourself with more honesty and less judgment.

  • You understand your needs before outsourcing them.

  • You communicate more clearly with partners and children.

  • You create boundaries that align with your needs and authentic self instead of reinforcing old fears.

This shift often transforms systems. When one person starts relating to themselves differently, the entire emotional climate around them changes. This is how generational patterns soften — one choice, one moment of awareness, one person at a time.

The Heart of the Work

I believe the relationship you build with yourself shapes every other relationship you have — so, our work starts with understanding your story — the parts you’ve hidden, the parts you’ve worked hard to overcome, and the parts you’re still learning how to care for.

As we do this, you’ll begin to:

  • Recognize your coping strategies without shame

  • Feel emotions without being overwhelmed by them

  • See your reactions as adaptations instead of flaws

  • Create space between what happens and how you respond

This is where real freedom begins.

When you understand your own emotional world, you can stop expecting others to read your mind, fix your pain, or meet needs you’ve never learned to meet yourself. Instead, you move toward connection that is authentic, mutual, and rooted in choice rather than fear.

What Our Work Looks Like

My approach is collaborative, practical, and centered on curiosity.

Together, whether you’re an individual or couple, we will:

  • Slow down responses that feel automatic

  • Explore the deeper stories beneath your patterns

  • Strengthen your connection to your body and emotions

  • Build skills for communication, boundaries, and emotional regulation

  • Develop a way of relating to yourself that feels steady and genuine

My goal is for you to understand yourself clearly so that the choices you make start aligning naturally with the life you want.

You Get to Rewrite Your Story

You, your partner, and your children deserve a life that reflects who you truly are — not who you had to be to get through earlier chapters of your story. I’m here to help you shift from surviving to living in a way that feels intentional, grounded, and fully your own.

I received my Master of Science, in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of New Hampshire in 2023.
